Granada, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains in Andalucía, has many important examples of medieval architecture dating to the Moorish occupation of Spain.
The quaint, pebbled streets with simply perfect lighting, loads of history and more over truck loads of shopping, you wont find a minute to get bored here!
It’s best known for the Alhambra, a grand, sprawling hilltop fortress complex encompassing royal palaces, serene patios and reflecting pools from the Nasrid dynasty, as well as the fountains and orchards of the Generalife gardens. And a post to follow soon for sure..
